“Off episodes” refers to a time in a Parkinson’s patients where medications are wearing off and symptoms increase
Introducing first-in-class medication that is used in combination with Levodopa to reduce “off episodes” in Parkinson’s disease. “Off episodes” refers to a time in a Parkinson’s patients day where their Levodopa is wearing off and symptoms such as tremor, rigidity, slowness, and postural imbalance return. I would be very interested to bring in a Neurologist to discuss Parkinson’s disease and how our new medication fits in treating Parkinson’s patients.
