It has been my distinct pleasure and honor to form the Association of Missouri Nurse Practitioners, serve as the first President, and then to serve as the CEO. We have formed an amazing state wide association of APRNs from all across the state. Our board has been highly successful into leading AMNP into the successful organization it is today. We have almost 550 members. We have wonderful representation at the capitol that is working hard on our behalf on a daily basis. We have provided educational offerings across the state of MO. I am so proud of the last two years!

Unfortunately, every time has an end. I am resigning as CEO of AMNP due to needing to focus on some other issues. I want to ensure each and every one of you that our other leadership positions are remaining unchanged. I will be in the wings supporting them and a new CEO and will remain committed to the success of AMNP. I want each and every one of you to remain encouraged and to use this energy to get others to join and become members. We ARE the change agent.

Shanna, Thank you, SO much, for your dedication and expertise. I feel like this organization, under your direction, has been successful in creating a voice for the Advanced Practice Nurse in the political arena. You have been such a dedicated NP and friend to us, on an organizational level and a personal level, and I am sure I speak for others when I wish you only the Best in the Future! Again, Thank you for Everything on All levels. You've been a Great Friend. Patty
