Legislative Update - Week #5 - ADDITIONAL ACTION NEEDED

Attached is the legislative update for the fifth week of the 2021 legislative session. It includes a request to submit additional comments on SB 8 to members of the Senate Professional Registration Committee. 

There is a possibility that the committee could vote on SB 8 on Monday afternoon, so please contact committee members to advise them that NPs STILL STRONGLY OPPOSE SB 8 AND THE COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE for the reasons stated in the attached update.
