Posted about 4 years ago by Derek Leffert

Our apologies for the late notice, but we were waiting on confirmation from a couple of legislators.

On Thursday, March 11th from 12PM-1PM, the Association of Missouri Nurse Practitioners and the Missouri Nurses Association will host a "Virtual Advocacy Day" for APRNs and APRN students across Missouri.

To register, please visit https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/8109152655487660299?source=AMNP

The Virtual Advocacy Day will discuss current APRN legislation and feature several legislators that have been ardent supporters that file and promote APRNs in the legislature. Hear from AMNP and MONA lobbyists and Sen. Eric Burlison, Rep. Hannah Kelly, Rep. Nick Schroer, and Rep. Derek Grier about why they believe that removing restrictions on APRN practice is the right thing to do for Missouri.

The event is completely FREE and will offer 1 CE credit. The Association of Missouri Nurse Practitioners is approved as a provider of nurse practitioner continuing education by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. AANP Provider Number 17032602. This activity has been approved for 1.0 contact hours of continuing education (which includes 0 hours of pharmacology).  Program ID# 2102001.

You MUST register to receive your personalized link to access the webinar. Once the webinar begins, you will need to confirm your attendance by putting your name and email address in the chat function. You will also need to complete the post-test and evaluation in order to receive the CE credit.

If you have any questions, please email us at nursepractitioners@missourinp.org . We look forward to "seeing" you on Thursday.
