AANP Voting Now Open

The following email is from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Elections for representation for the national association opened up on March 11th. Candidates from Missouri include Shanna Chapman for the Region 7 Representative and Kathy Haycraft for AANP Treasurer. The 2021 American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP) Election opens March 11 and closes at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on March 31, 2021.

This year, voting is easier than ever. Cast your vote by simply going to vote.aanp.org and logging in with your AANP member credentials (user name and password).

Candidate information is available now at the AANP website for your review. All 40 candidates have photos, and 35 candidates submitted a campaign flyer, which is posted with the candidate’s information. Candidates seeking officer and board of directors seats may also have a video message. Incumbents are designated as such on the ballot, as well as on their individual bios.

Eligible AANP voters who participate in this election will be entered in a special drawing to receive a one-year complimentary AANP membership. Two names will be randomly selected by Survey & Ballot Systems to receive the one-year memberships, and the winners will be notified at the close of the election.
