ACTION NEEDED - PLEASE SEE ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING HEARING ON APRN LEGISLATION ON MONDAY 3/22
Posted over 4 years ago by Derek Leffert
This announcement has 2 attachments:
Attached is an immediate request for action regarding committee hearings on HB 84, SB 293, and SB 584. Each of these bills are HUGE PRIORITIES of AMNP and would make significant forward progress for Missouri's NPs.
We need any and all NPs who are able to attend the committee hearing to testify to attend the hearings on Monday at 12PM and 2PM. If you are not able to attend in person, we have included instructions on how to submit written testimony to both the House and Senate committees.
Just like your action on SB 8, YOUR engagement on these bills could mean the difference between passage or failure. The need for your action cannot be overstated.
Please read the request for action attached as well as talking points for both bills to provide guidance for any written or oral testimony that you may provide.
If you have any questions, please email us at nursepractitioners@missourinp.org
We hope to see you on Monday.

Dear Mr. Leffert,
I am a NP in rural mid-missouri.
I wondered how sessions went today.
Has our Governor extended the temporary covid NP mileage restriction for collaborative provider
Yes the suspensions were extended and two of the three bills that were heard in committee were passed out yesterday.
