This announcement has 1 attachment:

Attached is the final update for the 2021 Missouri General Assembly Legislative Session. The update includes a summary of the provisions that will impact APRNs in some way/shape/form so we encourage you to read through the update to see how they will impact you.

If you or your employer would like additional clarification on these provisions, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to answer any questions that you may have.

As it currently stands, Gov. Parson’s suspension of the waivers for APRNs is in effect until August 31st. We will continue to engage with his office to actively lobby for a continued suspension beyond August but are not optimistic. Nevertheless, we will keep you apprised of any changes.

While the 2021 session did not end the way we had hoped, we are extraordinarily grateful to all of you who took the time to call, write, email, and visit with your elected officials. Your continued engagement is absolutely essential to our efforts and we will continue to work to put patients before politics.

As always, if you have any questions or we can help you in any way, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at nursepractitioners@missourinp.org . We value your membership in AMNP and are doing everything we can to fight for you and your patients. Thank you for investing in your profession, your association, and your future of practice.
