CALL FOR COMMITTEE MEMBERS - CONTRIBUTE TO YOUR PROFESSION

As AMNP prepares for 2022, we would like to invite all of our members in good standing to apply to participate in one of the many committees that AMNP offers. Contributing to a committee is a great way to give back to your profession and gives a voice to what you and your fellow NPs need and want from YOUR association.

Current AMNP Committees include:

• Advocacy Committee - The Advocacy Committee meets regularly during the legislative session to review legislation, determine its impact, help craft messaging to legislators, and chart the path forward in our legislative efforts. 
• Conference Planning Committee - The Conference Planning Committee meets monthly to help plan and execute our annual conference. Members help draft the agenda, solicit speakers, and work to ensure that the content and activities are aligned with the educational needs of NPs.
• Membership Committee - The Membership Committee meets quarterly to help recruit and retain new members. The ideas generated from the Membership Committee help AMNP provide the foundation for exceeding the needs of our members throughout the state.
• PAC Committee - The PAC Committee meets periodically to discuss fundraising and candidate contributions from the AMNP Political Action Committee. These committee members put together strategies to help fund and retain candidates for political office that support NPs.

We sincerely hope you will consider participating in one or more of these committee opportunities. Your input and opinions help guide AMNP in our continuous quest to serve the NPs of our state.
