HB 2371 SCHEDULED FOR HEARING ON WEDNESDAY 1/26 @ 8AM

The House Professional Registration and Licensing Committee will hold a committee hearing on HB 2371 this Wednesday, January 26th at 8AM in House Hearing Room #1.

HB 2371 provides APRNs with the ability to order home health for patients, similar to what physicians are permitted to do. As you may recall, this was one of the barriers that was lifted during the pandemic but expired on December 31st with the rest of the waivers.

If you have a personal story about how this has helped, we invite you to come to Jefferson City to testify. If you are unable to make the trip but would still like to comment on how helpful this has been, please complete the steps to submit your written testimony:

1. Visit https://house.mo.gov/WitnessForm/Default.aspx

2. Select Professional Registration and Licensing under the dropdown box for Hearing.

3. Select the box next to HB 2371 .

4. Select Individual under the Testify As.

5. Select In Support Of under Reason.

6. Enter your comments in the Statement box.

7. Select whether you are only submitting testimony or if you plan to attend in person.

8. Enter your name and contact information.

9. Select the Acknowledgment box and type your name in the signature box.

10. Enter the code in the box and click Verify.

11. Click Submit to finish sending your testimony.
