PRIMARY ELECTION DAY - TUESDAY AUGUST 2ND! VOTE FOR NICK SCHROER

You've seen the signs and heard the ads. You've seen the postcards in the mail and have no doubt been annoyed with a robocall or ten. But all that is about to slow down as voters head to the polls to cast primary ballots tomorrow.

In some cases, the races will be decided by the primary. In others, the primary is just the first step to winning the race. In either case, NPs should head to the polls to cast ballots for those that support NPs.

There are two specific races that AMNP is watching VERY closely in both the primary and general election. One is the 2nd Senate district race between Rep. Nick Schroer and Rep. John Wiemann. As you may recall, Rep. Schroer has been a LONG time advocate of the state's NPs, and his election to the Missouri Senate is absolutely critical. Without Nick in the Senate, we no longer have a champion for NPs since Sen. Burlison has moved on.

The second race that we will be watching closely is the 24th Senate district. In this race, long time State Representative Tracy McCreery will be facing off against physician George Hruza. While McCreery doesn't face a primary opponent, she will need help in her general election effort.
