SB 144 and SB 832 were voted out of the Senate Emerging Issues Committee this week. These are the transition to practice bill and the bill to permit APRNs to prescribe certain schedule II scripts.
TIME IS SHORT. It has to be heard on the Senate floor. THEN House. 4 weeks left. legislators need to see how important this is for our patients.

For those of us who can't attend in person, who can we call in support of the bills?
Heather, The big thing now is to contact your local Senator and Representative to update them on issues in your area so they know why this is needed. This could go quickly so they need to be aware of issues in their area now!
