Hello Missouri NP's!

As the 2026 legislative session in Missouri begins today, the Association of Missouri Nurse Practitioners (AMNP) is actively preparing to engage with lawmakers and key stakeholders on issues that matter most to our profession and to the patients we serve.

Throughout the legislative session, AMNP will be working diligently to advance and protect the interests of nurse practitioners across the state. This includes advocating for policies that support full practice authority, improve access to high-quality health care for Missourians, and strengthen the role of nurse practitioners within Missouri’s health care system. To date, nine bills have been filed that specifically involve APRNs, with more possible between now and the end of session in May.

Throughout session, we will keep you informed about legislative developments, opportunities for advocacy, and ways you can make your voice heard during the session.
